I’m sure everybody has some ability to write but we all get stuck with what to write from time to time. One way I get over this is by heading over to blog communities such as blog catalog or my blog log and looking through blogs related to mine. Sometimes just reading through these blogs gets my creative juices flowing and I’m soon full of ideas of what to write about again.

Another thing you could try is going to an article directory and using other people’s articles to keep your blog fresh with content. The authors of the articles ask that you leave all their links in, in return for use of their article which is fair enough in my opinion. The best article directory is EzineArticles and you’ll find articles on pretty much every subject so you can be sure there’ll be material sutable for your blog.

It really is worth keeping your content fresh because you’ll get so much of a better deal from the search engines and if you’re in this game to make money you definitely want their help.

If you’re an internet marketer and can’t find a niche to market too. Here’s a great tip I read on someones blog, go down to  the local library with a notebook and pen. Head on over to the non fiction section and there you have it, niche heaven. There will be so many different topics that you shouldn’t have trouble finding one that suits.

As a side note, it doesn’t have to be something you’re very interested in it just helps in that it will be easier for you to write about etc.

For the last few weeks I’ve been hanging out online at Wealthy Affiliate so this is my Wealthy Affiliate testimonial and I hope you like it and it gives you some feel good about marketing online. If you have your own blog then you will probably want some traffic from the Search Engines especially if you want to monetize your site. This technique can help your site or post get indexed by search engines much quicker and it is really simple to do.

What I am talking about is pinging your blog and if you have no idea what this is, don’t worry all will be revealed. If you write a new post on your blog, how do the search engines know that your new post exists? Well they don’t unless they happen to crawl your site regularly but by pinging your blog you are letting the search engines know that you have updated your blog and would like them to crawl your site.

This helps enormously in getting indexed by the search engines and can happen in as little as 2 hours. If you have a wordpress blog, you don’t need to worry about pinging as your blogging platform does this for you. Internet Marketers often overlook  having a business plan and this is probably why approximately 97% fail to make a decent income online. Having a business plan is a must when starting out as a marketer, I mean if you don’t know where you are going, how the hell are you going to get there?

Start by planning where you want to be in say, a years time and then work backwards month by month. This should give you and idea of what you need to achieve every month in order to reach your goals. You can go even further, breaking down these monthly targets in to weekly and even daily goals.

Having goals or targets and a business plan is essential, if you don’t have one don’t expect to succeed in what you are doing and having a plan will help you stay focused on your tasks.
