Confessions of a Lazy Super Affiliate – an honest Review

Posted in Uncategorized on October 26th, 2008 by tomwalsh

Chris Rempel’s e-book Confessions of a Lazy Super Affiliate, is a no nonsense guide on how to make easy money online through affiliate marketing. Chris tells it like it is, and his approach is quite refreshing and very different to a lot of e-books on the market, and I love the title of his legal disclaimer “The Disclaimers, Legal Stuff and Butt Covering Section.” Lol!

Now if you’re just starting out with affiliate marketing, then I don’t think this should be the first book you should buy as some of the terminology and techniques used are more for an intermediate level of marketer.

In this book, Chris shows how to build an entire affiliate marketing business and how to apply different methods to maximize profits and sales. He details every step you should take and summarizes those steps at the end of every chapter so that you don’t overlook an important step.

Contrary to a lot of other internet marketers, Chris says that following your passion is not the way to go. Instead you should be targeting hungry crowds with a ready to buy mindset. If you are following your passion, you can apply the techniques used in this e-book, it may just take a little more work.

Targeting the hungry crowd

The first section of this e-book shows how to target hungry crowds with the ready to buy mindset with a mini website consisting of 20 or so web pages. He shows you how to find profitable products for you to promote and reading this first section of the book gave me a few lightbulb moments.

He then shows you a number of traffic generation tactics and again, there is some really good stuff here such as viral software programming and where and how to get quality backlinks for your site. You don’t have to be a programmer to employ these methods; Chris Rempel isn’t a programmer either.

Dominating your niche

Chris shows how you can dominate your niche by building more and more mini websites and then the ‘mother’ site. He also talks about creating your own product and having your own army of affiliates working for you.

Outsourcing

Being a super lazy affiliate, Chris outsources pretty much everything he can and he shows you how to accomplish this which is great if you’re new to outsourcing.

Summary

Confessions of a Lazy Super Affiliate
, is a great read and at 62 pages, it contains no fluff and is very reasonably priced. You will learn some great marketing techniques and strategies from this book. In fact, once you get the hang of this system, you could have a big affiliate marketing business bringing you in a lot of money. Some people may not like the fact that Chris tells you to outsource the majority of the work involved which obviously costs money, but Chris thought of that too and provides a great way of making some money to pay for outsourcing. There is enough in this book to make an attractive income but to quote Chris Rempel, “I’ve laid everything out on a silver platter, and yet, the sad fact of the matter is that a large number of people who read this book won’t do a damn thing about it. And yet, they’ll somehow be the “victim”. Again. Just like last time, and the time before.

Is Global Domains International a scam?

Posted in Internet Marketing Help, Multi-Level Marketing, SEO on August 25th, 2008 by tomwalsh

I’m sure many of you will have heard of or GDI and wondered if it is genuine or just another internet scam to fleece you of your money. Well I have been a member for some months now and find it to be a very honest and well run business. Their support is very good, if you need it and that is something that is severely lacking with a lot of businesses on the internet.

If you want to make money on the internet but you’re stuck for ideas, take a look at this movie and see what you think. I’m sure you will think it’s a great , but to make money you need to get people to sign up for GDI and that is something that some people struggle with, but GDI want to help you out. They can provide you with presentation DVD’s and business cards and lots of other stuff too to help you promote Global Domains International.

From the back office, you can access the very active forum and there is a lot, and I mean a LOT of stuff to help you out. You’ll get answers to your questions from the very friendly members there and don’t be afraid to ask, we all asked the same questions at some point and if you never ask you’ll never know. You’ll learn a lot about just by reading through the posts in the forum.

Global Domains International has been around for years so you can be rest assured that they’re not going anywhere. You can sign up with a 7 day free trial and if you don’t like the look of things, just cancel and you’ve lost nothing. I really like Global Domains International and would recommend it to anyone, however it does involve work so don’t think you just sign up and then your rich, it doesn’t work that good.

GDI member benefits include

•    Earn a dollar per month for every one you sign up.
•    Earn a dollar a month for sign ups in your downline 5 levels deep.
•    Sign up 5 members in a week earn $100 bonus.

Where do I start?

Posted in Internet Marketing Help on July 18th, 2008 by tomwalsh

So you’ve come to the decision you want to but you don’t know where or how to get started. This is sometimes the most difficult hurdle a new internet marketer has to overcome. It doesn’t have to be difficult though, you just need a plan. You need to write down your goals and set out to achieve them. It might be something like ‘Start writing a blog and aim to earn $50 a week from it’. When you have reached this goal, change the goal, all the time you need to keep challenging yourself, you’ll be surprised at what you can do.

If you want to start a blog or a website, what is the subject going to be? Remember there is a lot of competition on the internet so doing a website or blog about a broad subject is going to be a lot harder. You’ll need to narrow things down a bit, ‘’. For example, instead of starting a football website, you could focus on just one team, or instead of a website about dogs narrow it down to a breed of dogs. How would you monetize your website or blog? Do you have your own product? If you don’t, it’s not the end of the world, you could join up to a site like clickbank and sell digital products such as e-books or software receiving commissions of up to 70%.

There are hundreds of ways to make money from the internet but the best place to start is with a piece of paper and a pen. Write down what you are going to do and the goals you are aiming for. Once you’ve got a plan it makes the whole journey a lot easier. Another point I want to make is, please don’t think that you are going to be rich overnight. That only happens if you’re really lucky. It does take time to make money online but it can be done.
